Hotel Rosamar Maritim is a four-star hotel located just steps away from Lloret de Mar’s beach and offers beautiful views and many activities. Guests can choose between double rooms, junior suites or apartment units, which all have sea views. The units were renovated in 2012, and feature a balcony, mini-bar, table and chairs, air conditioning and satellite TV. Unwind at hotel’s seventh floor spa or keep up with your fitness at the in-house gym. The hotel keeps guests entertained with a 4,000-square metre garden facility which has three swimming pools and an AquaGarden club for other aquatic activities. A full buffet service is offered that includes international and Mediterranean cuisine. Hotel Rosamar Maritim is one of the four Rosamar hotels in the seaside area. The hotel is close to Lloret’s centre which has shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel is about 70 kilometres from Barcelona and 40 kilometres from Girona.
This was without a doubt what guests most appreciated about the Rosamar Maritim. It is located right on the beachfront promenade, and it is just a matter of crossing this to get to the beach. Since mot guests had travelled to this part of Spain for a bit of sun, sea and surf they were happy that the sea was so close at hand.
While the breakfast seemed to come in for the most praise, the other two meals were not too far behind. Guests described the food coming out of the kitchens as very tasty and well prepared and presented. Though there were many other restaurants in the area they didn't feel they had to even leave the hotel to eat really well.
Again and again guests mentioned how wonderful the staff were. While they were said to be welcoming and friendly, what stood out more for many guests was that they were very patient, always willing to take the time to properly understand and assist them.
Many guests travelling in the quieter months mentioned that the reception was closed then, meaning that all reception related activities were conducted at a sister hotel across the road. While most did not take issue with this, some felt it was a bit too inconvenient.
Unsurprisingly, given the fairly central location, a couple of guests did mention that there was some noise from revellers on the streets below who caused disturbances that affected their sleep.
Though not a universal compliant, a couple of motorists mentioned that the underground parking at the hotel, while convenient, was really a bit too pricey for the area.
