Hotel Rodeway Inn & Suites Hershey (Hershey, USA)

Enjoy a themed day at Hersheypark and then it's just a 5 minute drive 'home' to this friendly and clean hotel.

Rooms are quite spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Maybe a bit dated, but fully functional, nevertheless. That said; the bathroom is OK and clean. There's no problem with parking and the neighborhood, generally, is quiet.

At last! ... a hotel that matches its publicity. It appeared to be in an enviably quiet residential setting - and it is. All things get a bit outdated, but that's OK so long as everything is clean - and it is. Kids love the pool and there are plenty of towels.

The pool is something of a let-down and is a sad reflection on an otherwise OK hotel. It isn't maintained very well, there's lots of accumulated rubbish + they've missed a trick in not recognizing this as one of the hotel's prime features.

A minor complaint? No way! If you stay at any hotel, the minimum requirements are basic cleanliness ... and a good night's sleep. The latter, at least, is sadly lacking here.

There are poor levels of cleaning which, when combined with a lack of general maintenance, make for sub-standard rooms. Insects thrive here and are led by the mighty bed bug. It is relatively cheap but cleanliness and hygiene are priorities in the cheapest of hotels; and this isn't the cheapest.
