Hotel Robin's Nest (Houston, USA)

This has an eclectic and charming design. The buildings are rooms are painted with a lot of color and unique designs. Each of the light fixtures the artwork are distinctive, making for a beautiful ambiance.

You can drive right into Houston’s museums, which are easy, short drives and some of them are within walking distance. There are several restaurants and galleries nearby. Also, you can easily take the airport shuttle from the B&B.

The breakfast was popular amongst guests who said it was excellent and varied from day-to-day. They said it contained: eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruits, toast, coffee and juice.

The hosts were difficult to reach during after hours, several guests complained. They said that no one was there to meet them when they were checking in and that they were given an email with a gate code. Some guests who didn’t receive a gate code were left waiting until someone called them back. This issue of missing staff came up repeatedly in several reviews.

Several guests said that they left voicemails and email messages for the establishment and never got any kind of responses from them. They said that they tried to call if they had to change their booking, but the lack of communication was frustrating and bad customer service.

Some guests said they had to come downstairs to use the Wi-Fi, because it didn't function properly upstairs. Others said that the connection was just not very strong. They recommended not using this hotel if you need the Wi-Fi for work or business.
