The apartments at Hotel RF Astoria are thoughtfully designed. The apartments feature French-style faux-balconies that open up towards the quaint and pleasant open air Puerto de la Crux malls. The rooms are equipped with just the right facilities to make this feel like a perfect home away from home.
The staff here is very amiable and will put a smile on your face after a hectic day. Most staff members have an excellent grasp of tourist hotspots around town, including budget ones that won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
The hotel is located in the center of Puerto de la Cruz making it easy to access many tourist attractions such as Ermita de San Juan, Casino Puerto de la Cruz, Sitio Litre Garden, Church of Nuestra Senora de la Pena de Francia, and others.
Though most of the facilities at Hotel RF Astoria are modern, well maintained, and in great shape, a few are not. For instance, the hotel provides twin beds but lacks double beds while the TVs in the rooms are jaded and old-fashioned.
A few guests have complained that the hotel sometimes fails to reserve rooms or guests even after guests complete the booking process. This is perhaps caused by a communication breakdown between guests and the hotel during the booking process.
A number of guests have reported that the water pressure in the showers was too low that made it difficult to do things like wash the hair.
