Guests have liked the location of the Residence Inn San Jose South, often commenting favorably on the selection of shops, restaurants, and bars in the area. The proximity of downtown San Jose as well as destination such as Palo Alto has also proved popular.

Cleanliness and comfort seem to come as standard here, with many guests also describing the studios and suites as reasonably spacious. Guests are also appreciative of the selection of included amenities and note that the kitchenettes appear to have been updated.

Previous guests have consistently enjoyed the breakfast here, finding the choice of food quite extensive and the breakfast staff well organized and attentive. Guests have also enjoyed the free manager’s receptions (held Monday to Wednesday) and appreciate the convenience of having a grocery store on-site.

While it would be unfair to suggest that service here is consistently bad, guests do report some exceptions in the otherwise friendly and professional service. Most of the negative feedback in this area relates to reservation issues although guests have occasionally encountered a rude member of staff.
