Early feedback about the public areas of this hotel is quite poor but recent renovation to areas such as the lobby, hallways, and breakfast room has meant that feedback has improved significantly. Guests now tend to find these areas bright and modern.

The majority of guests have found the staff at the Residence Inn Rocky Mount friendly and attentive although do note that some of the staff could use some training on basic hotel information and amenities. Overall, though, the staff seems nice and should have a positive impact on your stay.

For many guests, one of the main appeals of this hotel is that the property is pet-friendly. The charge for pets, although non-refundable, is often said to be reasonable.
