Guests say that the Holiday Inn Harrisburg - Carlisle is an overall great place to stay as the staff is friendly, rooms are quiet and comfortable besides being large, and the beds felt fantastic to sleep in.

Many of the guests appreciated the good breakfast served at the hotel which had healthy choices and a nice variety of pastries. Coffee at the hotel was found excellent too by guests and the pancake machine was a big hit with kids.

Most guests say that the whole hotel had a really modern, nice and attractive look besides being exceptionally clean. They enjoyed the facilities of the swimming pool as well as the hot tub which had a TV provided too. Guests say that they would recommend the hotel to people traveling either on business or pleasure.

Some guests found their rooms smelly, which they thought could be because of the paint from the walls or from the carpet. Some guests were disturbed by the barking sounds of the dogs in the rooms below theirs and wish that the guests with pets are accommodated separately from other guests.

Parking was an issue faced by many guests at the hotel as there was not much space available. Most the time, the parking lot was full and guests had to literally wait for someone to leave to get a parking spot.

Many times online bookings by guests for a particular room of their choice are not honored even after they get a confirmation of their bookings. On arrival, several guests have found that their rooms have been incorrectly booked and they have to wait a long time for their desired rooms to be ready.
