Hotel Quality Inn Mystic-Groton (Mystic, USA)

The hotel is close to everything that Mystic has to offer including good restaurants and diners, and local attractions such as the casino, museum, aquarium and seaport are also located nearby.

The staff are very friendly and will always go above and beyond to ensure that you have a pleasant stay such as accommodating any requests or resolving any issues that may arise. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and will recommend things to do, places to go and give directions.

The breakfast is included in the price and there is always a wide selection available to set you up for the rest of the day. This included a traditional cooked offering or a cold continental choice. There is also the option of making your own waffles which many guests really enjoyed.

There have been many reports from previous guests of rooms being really dirty and unpleasant with stained mattresses, moldy walls and ceilings, dirty carpets and hair in plugholes. There have also been many comments about rooms being very smelly with the hotel's only solution being to provide a bottle of Febreeze. Fixtures and furnishings are also looking very tired and very worn with the carpets being threadbare in places.

Due to the layout of the hotel some guests found that the reception was a very long walk away from rooms and this did pose a problem for those with mobility issues.

Although the hotel does have a pool it is not very big and has been described by previous guests as the size of a postage stamp or a cup and they did expect it to be bigger.
