Hotel Qawra Point Holiday Complex (Qawra, Malta)

While not quite described as in the centre of the action, guests are nonetheless very happy that they can easily walk to bars, clubs, and even the bus station. Everything they needed was just a short walk away.

While there were quite a few complaints about the basic facilities, most guests agree that they had booked a budget option, and that the property provided exactly this. Considering the central location, most believed they received decent value.

While the food in the main restaurant does not seem to be well received, the ground floor café, the Mondrian, gets much better comments.  Guests say it serves tasty good value fare.

A  fairly common comment, the little kitchenettes are described as significantly sub-par. Guests complain that even basic utensils and cookware are missing, and that the equipment that is there is too small for any proper cooking. Perhaps only good for heating something up in the microwave, or keeping something cool in the small fridge.

Several guests mention that the hotel seems to be trying to appeal to British visitors by offering a full English breakfast, but getting it horribly wrong. It is described as monotonous, with not much taste.

Although guests accept it is a budget complex, most feel that a major update of décor and facilities should be undertaken, otherwise even the budget status will eventually not be enough for them to return.
