Hotel db Seabank (Mellieħa, Malta)

The overwhelming majority of guests here commented on the Seabank's incredibly helpful and friendly staff. However, if that wasn't enough, it appears that many repeat guests were asked on previous visits for additional feedback on how this resort could improve its offerings. The result? Seabank asked, guests gave honest feedback and it seems that quite a lot of changes have recently been implemented as a result of these suggestions. More sun loungers, more beer on tap and even a bowling alley are all the result of an honest, constructive dialogue between this resort and its guests.

When it comes to food, diners are spoilt for choice here. The firm favorites appear to be the resort's themed restaurants, especially its Italian and Asian offerings.

Quite a few guests have noted that the resort was able to handle the needs of large group gatherings - wedding parties, family vacations and celebrations - very smoothly and without incident.

There seemed to be quite a lot of complaints related to selective Wi-Fi connectivity in and around the hotel.

Repeat guests have commented that, in comparison to previous years, the standards for couples seem to be slipping. Many comment that, especially in the resort's dining areas, they feel almost overwhelmed by the noise of families with small children.

While the food here is popular, some find the reservation process currently in place for booking meals in the hotel's themed (and very busy!) restaurants very frustrating. Some also expressed concerns about what appears to be a wasp problem around the pool area and in the grounds of the hotel.
