As the drinks kick in, parents relax in an alcoholic haze and hysterical, high-volume kids run around … noise levels increase well in to the early hours. It can be deafening and staff members seem to turn a deaf ear to what's going on. Certainly, they seem unable to control noise levels. Not really surprising. Drunken adults combined with unruly kids are more than a match for anyone!
Room lighting is poor; particularly in the bed area. A late night read is out of the question.
The pool is small and very dated. The combined hobby of early morning staff is to shout at each other as loudly as possible, to see who can best irritate … paying … guests. There are plenty of winners - apparently! Noise, generally, is a problem here.
