Pine Tree Lodge has recently been converted and split into 2 cottages. It is located in a peaceful village less than a mile from the centre of Bridgnorth, 0.5 mile from The Severn Valley Railway & 8 miles from the world famous Ironbridge. Both cottages have parking, a private sunny terrace, a fully fitted kitchen/diner, a lounge and bedroom with a double bed. Both overlook horse paddocks. Cottage No 1, rated as a 3 Star, is finished in a shabby chic style & has a sofa bed in the lounge for a 3rd guest and a bathroom. No 2, rated as 4 Star, is a mix of contemporary and old style, has a single pull out bed for a small adult or child in the bedroom, and a shower room. Dogs are welcome (small additional fee) and there are some lovely rural and town walks from the door. Bridgnorth was recently voted ‘Britain’s Best Small Market Town’ and is an annual contender for ‘The Britain in Bloom Awards’. It was once a fortified town and part of the old castle still stands in ruin in the High Town. The castle grounds are linked to the River Severn in Low Town by a Vernacular Railway. An ideal country retreat but within walking distance of the historic Bridgnorth town centre.
