Hotel Pebbles (Sliema, Malta)

High standards of cleanliness are maintained in the hotel and the apartments are spotlessly cleaned every day. Towels can be changed daily if required and the bed sheets are changed every two days.

There are lots of nice bars and restaurants within easy crawling distance of the hotel which gives it an ideal location. Two of Malta’s largest shopping malls are also located nearby if you want to indulge in some retail therapy and should you wish to stay in and prepare your own meals in the comfort of your apartment there are also plenty of supermarkets where you can buy fresh local produce.

The staff are so helpful and always polite and courteous. Problems can always occur, but it is the way that they are dealt with which means that they are no longer a problem such as moving rooms, or dealing with maintenance issues. One review has also mentioned how staff have gone out of their way to ensure that they got coffee that they requested rather than instant. These small touches mean a lot.

As the hotel is in a busy location you may be disturbed by noisy bars and clubs at street level. Lower apartments suffer the worst, but it has been reported that even those higher up experience this until the small hours.

There is no on-site parking and the streets are busy which means having to drive around until a space becomes available. A multi-storey car park is in the area, but this is a ten minute walk away.

Many reviews have said that the Wi-Fi connection is very slow and there isn’t always a signal throughout the hotel, however there are reports from the hotel management that this issue has now been fixed.
