Located in a beach resort of Puerto Rico, the Palmeramar Apartments are a mile from the Amadores Beach. Many other beaches like Cura Beach and Puerto Rico Beach are close by. The Palmeramar Apartments have a terrace with a seating arrangement, most of them offering beach views. The facilities of satellite television and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, kettle, utensils and microwave are provided. Bathrooms are equipped with shower. The apartments feature an outdoor pool and a smaller pool for children. A spacious terrace area is equipped with loungers. Spa facilities are available. Staff is multilingual and a supermarket is present on site. The apartment building has a restaurant for meals and a bar for light snacks and beverages. The bar has views of the sea and guests can enjoy the sunset sitting at the bar. The Puerto Rico Shopping Centre is at a distance of five kilometres from the apartments.

The apartments have a balcony or terrace with a seating area. Most of them feature the magnificent views of the Beach. All the apartments are equipped with satellite television. A kitchenette with facilities of hob, fridge, kettle, cutlery and crockery is provided.
The apartments feature an outdoor heated swimming pool and a small pool for children. Sun loungers are provided for guests to relax on after or before a swim. Guests can also hire hammocks and parasols when they visit the beaches. There is a mini super market present on site facilitating guests wanting to cook in their rooms to buy groceries. There is a restaurant and a pool side bar for meals and snacks.
The apartments need a revamp as they appear old and dull. The complex smells of sewerage. Cleaning is not done regularly and towels provided are not changed. Loungers present are insufficient.
The beds in the rooms are hard and uncomfortable. Pillows provided are not good. Soap and shampoo are not supplied. Kitchen has no full facilities and things like knife and kettle are not present. Television remote is also not provided. Electric sockets are limited. Wi-Fi is not free and though it can be accessed only with a charge, it is very slow making it unworthy of the price.
The meals served at the restaurant are below average and guests find eating out at other restaurants a better option.
