Hotel Palazzina Grassi (Venice, Italy)

This hotel is near the centre of Venice and offers access to a number of desirable locales. The Canal Grande is just off the hotel, and some areas of the hotel provide views. Also, Fenice Theater is under a mile away.

Many of the guests were specifically impressed with the quality of service at PalazzinaG. You should find that your needs and requests are fulfilled promptly and that the staff always act in a courteous, respectful manner.

A number of guests took time to rave about the quality of the decor at this location. The hotel was put together by famous French architect and designer Philippe Starck, and many guests say that it shows. There are some stunning set pieces and decorations that are sure to thrill.

Breakfast here fell short for a number of guests. Many feel that for the price paid there should be a more bountiful selection both in variety and quantity. A couple guests complain of being charged extra to have their orange juice glass topped off, et cetera. This is apparently not a value-oriented breakfast, and you may wish to eat off-site as a result.

Guests note that it can be difficult to connect to the Wi-Fi here. Disconnections are frequent, and even when a connection is maintained, browsing speeds can be problematic.

A couple guests actually note that there was a problem with mosquitoes within PalazzinaG. They cite being bitten and have to deal with bug spray to deter the pests. This is an unusual complaint that nonetheless raises some concerns, although it is possible this was a temporary phenomenon. However, seeing as there is a permanent body of water nearby, this could be a continuing issue.
