Hotel Ca' Pagan (Venice, Italy)

The staff at this small Venetian hotel are top-notch and past guests have commented that nothing is too much trouble here. Many even reported receiving directions and assistance with local transport from the property prior to arrival. Once there, visitors were also much impressed by this hotel's reception team, who go out of their way to give a warm welcome. Even the breakfast and kitchen staff here are outstanding, with past guests singling out and praising team members by name.

In addition to great customer service, this hotel wowed guests with its location. Not only are sights such as the Rialto and Saint Mark's Square just a few minutes from the property, but two water taxi stops are located very close to this hotel, making it a great choice for those hoping to make the most of their time in Venice.

The rooms here are opulent with brocade, silk and velvet, something that only served to enhance guests' Venetian experience. In addition to this, while the breakfast here - a simple continental spread - was noted to be excellent, many also commented on the outstanding quality of the made-to-order cappuccinos.

While this hotel offers Wi-Fi, some guests reported issues with intermittent connectivity here.

The quality of the breakfast spread is great, but some - especially business guests - feel that, for the sake of convenience, service could begin a little bit earlier in the morning.

Finally, a number of guests felt that the showers here were rather small, with some struggling for space as they soaped down.
