Many commented that the inn offers a hotel atmosphere for hostel prices. A number of people stated that the amenities, large rooms, and level of service did not feel cheap like other hotels in a similar price range.

A few guests had problems with the shower design causing a mess in some of the bathrooms. A low-set drainage fixture and a lack of any restraint for the curtain allows water to leak outside the shower, resulting in a mess of standing water on the floor.

Many people stated that they were unable to get a good Wi-Fi signal in many parts of the hotel, with some reporting that the only area where they could get a reliable connection was in the lobby near the reception desk.

Owing to its downtown location, the establishment is a bit of a hike away from the local beach. Guests said that the seafront is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel building.
