Guests approved of this motel’s location beside Historic Route 66 and just a short drive from Interstate 40 in Williams, Arizona. Not only did it make an excellent base for exploring the stunning Grand Canyon National Park, which was a train ride or moderate drive away, but also it was within easy walking distance of the heart of downtown Williams. Visitors also welcomed the proximity of convenience stores, places to eat and gas stations. Drivers appreciated the ample complimentary parking. Moreover, it was easy to reach area attractions, beauty spots, casinos, golf courses and skiing areas.

The updated rooms with new look decor and laminate flooring had many admirers, who often said they were spacious, comfy and well-cleaned. Budget-conscious travelers liked the affordable room rates for the area and usually felt they got decent value for money. Many guests were pleased with the indoor swimming pool and hot-tub.

Light sleepers blamed inadequate sound insulation for occasionally enabling them to hear nuisance noise from adjoining rooms and corridors. Lingering smoky smells and pet odors also frustrated some critics as did curtains that failed to fully exclude external light.
