Of course it had to be the incredibly central location that guests most appreciated about the Monterey. They describe the hotel as being in the very centre of Ginza, and well within walking distance of its famous shopping and entertainment. Both those who came for the shopping, and those wanting to visit other attractions, seemed happy with the central location.
Monterey seems to be one of the rare hotels with an almost universally admired Wi-Fi. Guests reported that the system was reliable and fast, and that the hotel did not put any unreasonable restriction on the number of connected devises.
While some guests did take issue with their size, most certainly weren't unhappy about the cleanliness of their room. Again and again guests mentioned that the cleaning staff kept everything absolutely spotless.
This was a surprisingly common complaint. Many guests felt that the reception area was simply too small. On a practical note, it meant that it was too crowded, especially during typical check-out times, and secondly, it didn't give them a very good first impression of the hotel.
