Hotel Miramar (San Clemente, USA)

Most guests found Miramar’s location to be the highlight of the hotel. It is convenient to the freeway, a short drive from the beach, and very close to downtown San Clemente. You can even walk there. In addition, there are plenty of excellent dining options near the hotel, and even a small convenience store across the street. If shopping is your hobby, in downtown San Clemente you can find plenty of unique boutiques.

The rooms at Miramar are clean and cozy, and appear recently renovated. Guests say they have everything you need for a content stay, including comfortable beds, a nice flat screen TV with a good variety of channels, and the convenience of a personal refrigerator and microwave.

Miramar is a family-run hotel and guests say the owners are very kind and accommodating. Don’t hesitate to ask them for recommendations about the area – they’ll gladly give you tips and directions.

If you’re a sensitive sleeper, ask for a room facing away from the street. Guests say it can get noisy because El Camino Real tends to be a busy road. As a precaution, it’s also a good idea to bring some earplugs along as well.

Guests say that the Wi-Fi connection can be unreliable at times.

Miramar provides its guests with a complimentary continental breakfast but many guests were a bit disappointed. The selection is quite simple and includes mainly coffee and pastries, along with a bit of fruit, yogurt and juice. The meal is quite light overall. In addition, there is no area to sit down to eat, but you can take the food to your room.
