The Stendhal sits on a square near the opera house, a few minutes\' walk from many of the important sights and 6 blocks south of the station. The guest rooms are well maintained and furnished with contemporary pieces that are reproductions of various styles, ranging from rococo to provincial. We consider this to be the best hotel in Parma overall due to its location and the fact it is such a lovely traditional style building, probably the grandest hotel in Parma. The lower half of the front facade is traditional in design and was once part of the pilotta Palace. The rest of the building dates back to the mid 1990\'s.The rooms are all in very good condition, half being large and half being medium in size. All are traditional in design with varying colours. All are equipped with all the modern day traveller requires, air conditioning, satellite Tv, minibar, direct dial phone and hairdryer.Situated in the heart of Parma, within 300metres of all the cities principal and commercial attractions. On a lovely Piazza giving a true flavour of Parma life.
