Guests loved the quality, variety and amount of food served at the breakfast buffet. it is full of cold and hot items and everything is replenished quickly. In addition, a chef creates delicious made-to-order omelets right in front of you.
At the base of the mountains, The Lodge at Sierra Blanca has a truly beautiful location with gorgeous views of the mountains. The hotel is also close to the main road and easily accessible to shopping and restaurants. Guests going to Ski Apache found the location very convenient.
With so much to do, you'll want to spend as much time outside as possible. From the golf course, to the tennis courts, to the outdoor fitness equipment and the multitude of walking trails, staying active is absolutely no problem. Grill a delicious meal on the BBQ grills, equipped with utensils, and dine at the outdoor gathering area.
Some remodeling couldn't hurt. The furniture is not in the best condition, the rooms look outdated and there are stains on the carpets. The fitness equipment could use maintenance as well. Guests also commented about a musty smell in the rooms and bathrooms.
While most guests were pleased with the staff and the service they received, there were several guests who had run into some less pleasing situations. Front desk personnel were inattentive and absent from the reception area. The bartender was a bit rude on several occasions.
