Guests can take a bike ride from the hotel to explore the intriguing Colorado River. Additionally there are numerous lovely downtown restaurants close to the hotel. Despite the hotel's location across the railway station, it's very quiet and serene.

Stepping into the hotel is like stepping into a time capsule that is imbued with a touch of modernity. The hotel easily balances a blend of cosmopolitan vibe with a rustic charm. The rooms are individually decorated, charming, lively, and full of character with loads upon loads of antiques inside. Guests can stay in rooms with lovely views upon request.

The staff here is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Not only are staff members super-efficient with top-notch services but are very willing to point out the best nature trails to guests who would like to explore the Red Mountain Trail and nearby attractions.

Guests who are unfortunate enough to book rooms bound to experience noise at times which can be pretty distracting especially at night.

One of Hotel Denver Glenwood Springs' trademark signatures is its historic look with numerous antiques lining up spaces in the hotel. But the hotel seems to have gone overboard in some places with numerous Ralph Waldo Emerson epigraphs lining up the corridors and room walls.

While many guests reported being happy with most of the hotel's staff, a few have reported being dissatisfied with the service by the front desk staff which they have described as being strangely brusque or even rude at times.
