You couldn't ask for a better place to stay that puts you right where some of the region's best sites and activities are. It's incredibly easy to walk to several places, and the free shuttle helps out a lot. On your way up to the motel, you'll see the amazing scenery that awaits once you check out the mountains and trails further.

Definitely talk to the staff about what tips and insider knowledge they can give you, because they're a fantastic resource for your vacation. They're very polite and approachable, and always ready with smiles and attentiveness to make sure your stay is exactly what you wanted.

Glenwood Motor Inn has a fairly decent breakfast. Although not fancy, and mostly consisting of the typical cereal, muffins, and fruit fare, the made-to-order waffles are a delight. It's one of those little extra touches that the owners provide that make this motel stand out from the rest.

The rooms are less spacious than expected, and sadly, lack consistent maintenance and housekeeping. Smoking and pet odors linger, linens and towels could use better washing, and the furnishings and carpet need stronger refreshening.

The tranquility of staying here is slightly lessened by hearing conversations, media volumes, and whatever else easily echoes through the walls and floors. Be aware of your own noise, and have ear plugs handy.

Guests would appreciate having a coffee maker in their room. It's a standard amenity that's oddly missing, and would be of much benefit.
