Hotel Martelli (Florence, Italy)

You won’t have to travel very far to get to all the attractions in Florence. Martelli is right near everything – you can walk to all the different shops, galleries, museums, and restaurants in the nearby area.

In order to keep the hotel looking fresh and new, remodelling and renovations are constantly being done. You may notice newer looking items in your room and throughout the entire hotel.

Each room comes with a small bar fridge for you to use at your convenience. It’s an easily accessible fridge to use for leftovers or drinks, and is readily available in your room.

The hotel offers a communal Wi-Fi hotspot, which doesn’t always seem to work. If you’re here on business, you might have trouble with this, as the system stays out of commission for long periods of time.

There doesn’t appear to be much in the way of soundproofing at this hotel, so you will likely hear your neighbours. The vents in the bathrooms are very loud, meaning you will probably hear other guests.

If you want to lock away some of your personal items, you will have so do so at the safe downstairs. Safes don’t come standard in the rooms, so plan accordingly.
