Hotel Mantra Heritage (Port Douglas, Australia)

Guests who stayed here commented in their reviews that the property was very conveniently located in Port Douglas as it was close to the beach and the marina with each within an easy walking distance.

When a hotel has great beds the comments from guests feature resounding confirmation that the beds are indeed the best on earth. Comments from guests about these beds were that they were some of the most comfortable they had ever slept on and would keep them coming back for a second stay.

A number of guests who stayed at the hotel had the pleasure of being accommodated in a poolside swim up room which is a unique feature where the pool steps have been built into the deck of the ground floor balcony area and its a short two to three steps from the pool to the private sun lounge outside the apartment.  These rooms were a hit with guests who stayed here and with others leaving tips for future guests to request these rooms.

Guests commented that as well as some care and attention that needed to be paid to the general maintenance of the hotel, that they thought that it could use a lick of paint and a bit of a tidy up to bring it into line with other hotels in the area.

Guests complained via their reviews about the settled mould in the bathroom areas and the obvious corresponding smells associated with this build up due to the humidity levels in the far north.
