Mangrove by Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts has a small pool terrace with al the usual sun loungers front and centre. Reception is on hand and is able to fully assist both leisure and business travellers. There are several dining venues on-site, from the main Rainbow Restaurant, which serves international cuisine for all three meals, to the more casual Sidewalk Café, which serves hot drinks and light meals from early till very late. Mangrove by Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts is situated right on the promenade that surrounds the fascinating mangrove sanctuary, an oasis of greenery in the desert. The location of the hotel was probably what guests most appreciated. They liked being on the promenade facing the mangrove sanctuary, and felt that all the amenities they needed could be found in the area nearby.
Though there were plenty of contrary opinions, the majority of guests seemed to have approved of the staff members conduct. They were said to be quite approachable, and willing to help them when requested.
While many guests conceded that there were a few issues with the hotel, they went on to say that their room-rate was very competitive compared to other hotels in the area, so they were more than happy to let them slide. They felt they received decent value for money.
This was perhaps the most common, and most serious, complaint Many guests simply stated outright that the property has not been maintained properly, and there is peeling paint, and other maintenance issues that have not been dealt with. In their view a full renovation is needed for the hotel to remain relevant.
This was a fairly common complaint. While guests don't say the pool was so small they couldn't swim in it, they do say that it, and the surrounding terrace, were both comically small when considering the size of the hotel.
