The rooms at this hotel are well laid out and are quite comfortable. You'll find that even as a couple there is plenty of space for luggage, and you won't feel cramped when watching TV. The bathroom is also nicely decorated and has some quality toiletries.

The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and have plenty of advice and information about the city and the surrounding area. There's not a whole lot to do nearby, so this is very useful to first-time visitors to the area.

The Podium restaurant is the only place to eat in the hotel, but this isn't a problem as the food is delicious. There is a wide variety on offer and each night something different to sample. It's a real plus to be able to enjoy good food in the hotel itself.

If you have special requirements for your room, then you'd best be prepared to have to explain it all over again once you check in at the hotel. There seems to be little communication between the reservation department and the hotel itself, which many guests have discovered on check-in.

There is pretty much nothing to do in the area surrounding the hotel, and it's well known that Ras Al Khaimah is a quiet place. The beach is too far for convenience, and there really isn't much else to do other than visit the local museum.

The staff that work here do their best, but there seems to be more than a few problems that arise which cannot be dealt with immediately. They have to call for confirmation before every decision is made which implies bad management.
