Hotel Los Angeles Athletic Club (Los Angeles, USA)

This hotel is said to have a handily central location for downtown Los Angeles, right in the middle of a good selection of theaters, restaurants and bars, and there are also plenty of public transport options nearby. Moreover, the staff is said to be friendly and courteous, offering professional and responsive service across all levels of the hotel.

The rooms at Los Angeles Athletic Club are said to have stylish decor, making the most of well-preserved classic architecture,  as well as a good standard of cleanliness and comfortable beds. You will also find the complimentary buffet breakfasts to be delicious and served in lovely, stately breakfast room, while the bars were also said to be handsomely appointed.

Guests absolutely loved the fitness and health club amenities on site, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, while the rooftop lookout area was also much enjoyed for its downtown Los Angeles views. The sense of history throughout the building was also a highlight for many, and a few even said this classy hotel was reason enough to return to LA.

Only a few small issues were reported by Los Angeles Athletic Club guests; which were that a few people found the rooms to be a bit dark, the elevators are said to be slow —  or at least guests had to wait, with one out of order at the time of writing — and the decor was a little outdated to the tastes of a small number. Also keep in mind that the neighborhood could be described as upcoming, or a little rough around the edges, but none of these issues were considered to be deal breakers.
