Attentive, obliging, friendly and welcoming were just some of the words reviewers used to describe the personnel at Little Boy Blue Motel.

Theme park visitors loved the proximity to Disneyland Resort, which was within walking distance. The property was also a short walk from Anaheim Convention Center and there were several convenience stores and dining options just a few steps away. Considering its roadside location, plenty of guests remarked that the motel was fairly quiet. Motorists appreciated the proximity of the Santa Ana Freeway, about half-a-mile away. It enabled straightforward access to Knott's Berry Farm amusement park, Pacific Ocean beaches, downtown Anaheim, sports venues, shopping malls and area attractions.

The rooms reportedly weren't luxurious but were more than sufficiently comfy and clean for a getaway on a budget. There was praise for the way they were well-equipped with features including ironing facilities, microwaves and fridges. The free parking and free breakfast were a bonus, although some diners said the menu was too limited. Some guests said they got decent value for money due to the competitive room rates.

Critics occasionally thought the motel was a bit tired-looking and would benefit from additional revamping to address maintenance issues like dated decor, dim lighting and slow-draining water.
