Situated in a lovely and tranquil residential neighbourhood, a short distance upriver from the falls, Li-Li is a charming Victorian B&B offering refined accommodation and a lovely garden. Each room is individually decorated, featuring homely touches like small sofas, restored antique windows and floors as well as practical amenities such as air conditioning, TV's and private bathrooms. Free onsite parking is available, while Wi-Fi is also free and accessible throughout the property, including the rooms. Vintage bikes are available for use free of charge. A comprehensive continental breakfast is serve every morning. Guests can also order a picnic basket and load it onto one of the B&B’s bicycles for a romantic lunch at a location of their choice The main viewpoint for the falls is about two miles to the south, though the riverbank is of course much closer. Those arriving by train will find the Amtrak station just 0.6 miles to the north of Li-Li.
Guests simply couldn't stop talking about how fantastic the B&B's hosts, Sonia and Stewart, were. They felt that they were incredibly welcoming and seemed to take a genuine interest in their guests and whether they had all they needed to ensure a great holiday.
Guests were clearly very impressed with the breakfast, with many saying that it was not only delicious, but that it had sufficient variety to prevent taste buds becoming jaded when staying for a while. There was also said to be more than enough and it seemed to set guests up for a busy day sightseeing ahead.
Too many guests to mention reported that both the rooms and public areas of the B&BB were kept spotlessly clean throughout the entire duration of their stay, there were really no complaints about cleanliness to be found anywhere.
A fair number of guests felt that it was not really accurate to claim that the B&B was within walking distance of the falls. They felt that, at 25 to 30 minutes, it was a very long walk indeed.
