Situated in Hull, just across the river from Ottawa, Hotel Les Suites Victoria is a low-rise modern brick property with surprisingly stylish accommodation and comfortable common areas. The suites are more like small condos and are very well-equipped, with their own modern kitchens with granite countertops, so you can prepare your own delicious meals. Other amenities include large flat-screen TV's and Wi-Fi, so you can remain entertained and connected. Reception staff are on duty around the clock and can assist with basic concierge and business services. Onsite parking is available for a fee and business guests will be happy to learn that their is a meeting room available that can accommodate up to 20 people. The in house café-lounge offers a great place to sit back and relax, or perhaps meet business associates or friends over a drink, or two. While the centre of Gatineau is 3.7 miles to the north, most guests are likely to be headed south to Ottawa. Parliament Hill is just across the river, 1.6 miles from Hotel Les Suites Victoria.
Guests were clearly very impressed with the design and general look of the rooms. While they didn't call them beautiful, many certainly did say they were chic and stylish, with most being very happy to be in such a trendy environment that, to them, looked brand new.
Pretty much all the guests who brought up the question of value for money felt that they had received excellent value during their stay. It seems that this hotel was much more reasonably priced than a similar one in Ottawa would be. Together with the great décor, this led guests to their conclusion.
Too many guests to mention were actually visiting the capital across the river, rather then Hull itself. They mentioned that they found Parliament Hill and all of central Ottawa quite easy to access from the hotel, and were happy to stay in a great hotel at much less cost than they would incur in Ottawa itself.
A number of guests pointed out that, while the hotel does indeed have onsite parking available, there are very few bays. As a result, many reported that they could not secure a bay onsite and were directed to a nearby parking garage instead, which they found a little inconvenient.
A number of guests reported being assigned a room next a particularly noisy group and said that the walls did not seem to help much in keeping their noise on their own side of the wall.
