While the décor is somewhat plain, the rooms are nevertheless well equipped. It seems that the hotel's rooms are slowly being renovated. As of May 2016 this project had still not been completed. Guests allocated to the newly remodeled rooms seemed to both approve of the design, and be very happy to occupy an almost brand new room.
While the staff in general received high marks for from guest, several mentioned staff members by name, saying that they went far the call of duty to help them out or deal with an issue.
Several guests mentioned that the hotel's beds were especially comfortable, in some cases even more comfortable than their bed at home. Considering the lack of complaints, it seems the bed buyers may have achieved the (near) impossible by selecting a mattress with very broad appeal.
A couple of guests mentioned that their room had no microwave or minibar in it. The superior rooms have these, but not the standard rooms. In any event, the problem for them was that it meant they couldn't heat up snacks in the microwave or keep there cold drinks nice and cold.
