Hotel La Quinta by Wyndham Springfield Airport Plaza (Springfield, USA)

While it is hardly surprising, since it's right in the name, the hotel was described as an excellent option for guests flying into the nearby Springfield-Branson National Airport. It was described as incredibly close and easy to get to, and guests certainly appreciated the convenient shuttle laid on by the hotel.

While it was only a simple continental-style affair, most guests found the breakfast to be quite acceptable. Considering the lack of good dining options nearby, they were simply relieved to be able to have breakfast at their hotel, and not have to concern themselves with finding a restaurant first thing in the morning.

While not mentioned by many guests, a couple went out of their way to say that they really appreciated having a microwave and mini-fridge in their room. It was just so convenient to be able to keep their drinks cold and prepare some warm snacks before settling down to watch that movie.

A couple of guests reported that they could easily hear noise from adjacent rooms. The TV and snoring where mentioned, but it was said that any noise could be heard. It was not exactly conducive to a good night's sleep.

It did not seem that guests found many good places to eat nearby. While there were one or two fast food joints in the area, most felt they had to drive into Springfield proper to eat well.

While reviews of the mattresses were very mixed, a number of guests were adamant that the pillows were uncomfortable. Some found it difficult to express what exactly was the matter with them, but many mentioned that they were “too hard”.
