A few guests report that they were bothered by mosquitoes in their rooms. This was a particular problem when guests left their windows open to cool the rooms. La Locandiera used to be a stand-alone hotel with its own reception and staff. Recently though, Casa Verardo has taken over and now La Locandiera just provides accommodation - all the facilities such as reception, dining room and lounges are now in the sister hotel which is a short walk away. While this isn't a major issue, a few guests found it slightly inconvenient and in an ideal world would have preferred all the amenities to have been on-site.
