Situated just a short drive from the ski lifts, La Chaumiere de l' Anse is a charming New England style B&B offering comfortable accommodation and traditional Quebecois hospitality. The five rooms are each individually decorated and furnished and have a bit of a country cottage feel to them. All rooms are en-suite. La Chaumiere de l' Anse makes a special effort to accommodate cyclists and has a secure storage place for those touring and bike rentals for those without their own bike. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The hosts take great pride in offering a gourmet breakfast buffet every morning and making it available from early to late so all can enjoy it. They will also be happy to offer great local restaurant recommendations for the other meals. Mont Tremblant and the ski lifts are just a six-minute drive from La Chaumiere de l' Anse. The hosts are able to arrange an enormous variety of leisure activities in all seasons, ranging from hiking trips to dog sledding.
Guests simply couldn’t stop raving about the breakfast. It was described as being prepared with love and care and consisting of a wide range of delicious foods. While all the foods were complimented, it seems it was the croissants that really most impressed guests.
It was rare to read a review that did not compliment the hosts, Martin and Man. They were described as incredibly gracious, offering their guests a warm welcome and all the assistance and inside recommendations they could possibly need. It’s fair to say that their conduct was the highlight of many guests stay.
A number of guests mentioned really liking the location of the B&B. They described it as being between the village of Mont Tremblant and the ski slopes, with both being within easy driving distance. Many seemed to prefer this location to being right on the slopes or in the village, since it was very peaceful and quiet, in a way almost rural.
