Hotel Kings Courtyard Inn (Charleston, USA)

The hotel is conveniently situated in the historic part of Charleston meaning that it is only a short distance away from many of the city's monuments and tourist attractions. Guests were pleased to find plenty of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity as well as the local market. If you like the idea of not having to drive or getting public transport then you certainly won't be disappointed.

Guests appreciated the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of the hotel stating that they felt welcome and well-looked after for the duration of their stay. Many enjoyed attending the complimentary happy-hour which provided an ideal opportunity to relax and socialize with other guests.

All the members of staff were described as helpful and approachable, often going the extra mile in order to assist the guests with their various requests and queries. The front desk staff offered helpful information with regards to the area whilst the waiting staff were said to be attentive and courteous.

Guests mentioned that the items on offer at breakfast were rather meagre and limited. The continental breakfast was described as monotonous with guests objecting to the fact that the menu did not change meaning that they had the same food every morning.

Those who stayed in rooms overlooking the courtyard objected to being kept awake by noise from guests who chose to stay outside until the early hours. Some also remarked that they were disturbed by noise from the hallways due to the inadequate soundproofing.

Some guests were disappointed to find that their rooms were quite small and cramped with not enough storage space where they could stow away their belongings.
