Kinbe Deluxe Boutique Hotel (Playa del Carmen, Mexico)

The hotel is close to the beach area and the main strip of 5th avenue, where the restaurants, bars and shops are located. It is a great place to walk to various parts and to hire a taxi or take the bus.

The hotel has a distinctive décor that reminded guests of Mexico. The rooms were elegant and charming, while providing for distinct feature like wood fittings. The tropical garden also helped set the relaxing atmosphere, as well as the terrace.

The staff were found to be nice and friendly by guests. They pinpointed places to head to and helped with transportation or tours in the area. They were great to talk to and guests felt welcomed.

Guests felt the hotel was humid and that the place smelled of humidity and body odours. They felt the linens should be washed in a different way to take out the previous smells. The rooms were also dark which did not help with the humidity, as well as the slow drainage.

Guests felt the hotel should put some effort into offering extra amenities such as breakfast. It would have been better to have breakfast available so that guests could have a relaxing morning without having to worry about finding somewhere to eat.

Since the hotel is located in a central area where all the action is, guests found it hard to block the music from the nearby clubs and bars. They recommend finding a quieter place or bringing ear plugs.
