Kayube Estate consists of Kayube Zambezi River House & Bungalows and the quaint ‘Mama Out of Africa’, located on a private 90 hectare estate directly on the banks of the Zambezi River. Kayube is only 20 km upstream from The Victoria Falls, right opposite the Zimbabwe's Zambezi National Park and at a 25 km drive from Livingstone on the Kazangula Road. As the River House is the original homestead belonging to the owner of the estate, only the ground floor is rented out. It is completely private and comes with housekeeping staff. The bungalows are hidden under big riverine trees and also completely private with their own braai area. One of the most unusual accommodation options at Kayube is the 'Mama Out of Africa' consisting of an old-shaped bus, now retired under a huge sloping thatch roof. It has been converted into accommodation for 2-4 and has an outside bathroom, spacious seating area and a game viewing platform overlooking the river and the Zambezi National Park. All have stunning views on the Zambezi with her forever changing moods and colours. From time to time herds of elephants can be seen across the river and during the night, hyena, zebra, lion and hippo's are often heard. Staying at Kayube Estate is an unforgettable experience!
