The Hotel Hotel Jinene in Sousse is an excellent value base to get some year-round sunshine. The hotel offers all-inclusive as well as half and full-board options. The 97 en-suite rooms are all air-conditioned with views over the sea or the gardens. Decorated in a fusion of Tunisian, Moorish and Spanish styles, they include a safe, TV and minibar. The Hotel Hotel Jinene has an abundance of facilities to keep guests amused. There are two heated inside pools, plus a large adult size pool and one for children, two tennis courts and mini-golf. The hotel also has its own private sandy beach. Meals are available in Le Sultan buffet restaurant or the pizzeria. There is also a café, beach-bar and cocktail bar - Al Ambra. The hotel is three kilometres from the centre of Sousse, near a 36-hole golf course and the chic marina of Port El Kantaoui.
Guests appreciate more than anything else being able to relax on the private sandy beach or in and around the swimming pools. If you wish to venture out of the hotel Port El Kantaoui is close by, as is the centre of Sousse.
Some guests are prepared that they won't get five (or even four) star treatment. They, however, are very pleased with what they get for the price paid - especially those on an all-inclusive option.

The hotel appears to have a serious issue regarding cleanliness. Although some guests find it cleaned to a good standard, many guests complain that the rooms are dirty. Not only are sheets cleaned infrequently, they are not cleaned to a good standard. Some even wonder if they have been changed since the previous occupants have left!
Another divisive area is the attitude of the staff. Whilst some guests have only positive things to say about them, you can't ignore the numerous complaints. Rude, aggressive and impolite are just some of the accusations made about staff - whether in the restaurant, pool or reception. Other guests are flabbergasted to hear such remarks, as they have found the staff to be the complete opposite! They would say it depends on the attitude you have towards the staff. If you show them respect, you will get more respect back in return!
Whilst some guests like the food on offer, many find it bland and of poor quality. They notice the same dishes returning day after day - with left-overs often reheated.
