Be careful when leaving your hotel and going to the beach, the beggars are abundant and persistent. In fact, you may find some right in front of the hotel! Some visitors have found the locals not too friendly as well.
You may find the food bland, boring, and of poor quality. For example, foods are heavily fried and desert consist of tiny cups of ice cream. Moreover, dishes that should be hot are cold and so on. Though they have plenty of food to serve, it doesn't help if you are staying at the hotel for an extended amount of time and can't stomach the food.
