They are provided with 37-inch LCD TVs and fully equipped kitchens. Each Villa has two bathrooms with designer toiletries and hair dryer. Separate dining and sitting areas, and furnished balconies are featured as well. The property has an outdoor pool lined with sunloungers under shady pool umbrellas. Guests have free use of a fitness center nearby. Concierge, wedding and laundry services are extended. Pets (only cats and dogs) are allowed for a fee. Self parking and Wi-Fi access throughout the property are complimentary. Barbecue grills and picnic area are present for the outdoor experience. There are many dining options close by. The property is a five-minute drive from Windley Key Fossil Reef Park and less than a kilometer from Hurricane Monument.
Guests said that the Islander Bayside in Islamorada is a great place to take a family vacation on the bay. They found the proximity of the property to places like the Tower of Pizza, Theator of the Sea, Brass Pro Shops and water sports very convenient. Stores, restaurants and bars were all within walking distance of the place.
Many of the guests found the two-storied villas a beautiful place of accommodation. They appreciated the convenience of two rooms on the top floor and the living and dining rooms on the ground floor. They said that the porches were nice and so were the full kitchen facilities.
The pool area was appreciated by guests as it was set overlooking the bay. Guests said that they liked the tiny lounge and the beautiful grounds of the property. Guests appreciated the direct access to the Islander Hotel facilities on the ocean side a mile away.
Some guests said that the living room couch was hard and short. The chairs provided were so high that guests could not get their feet to touch the floor while sitting on them. Guests said that the villas had no proper seating to enable them to watch TV comfortably.
Guests said that the location of the property is too close to the road making outdoor relaxation difficult and hard to enjoy. They also said that while the first floors of the villas were pleasant with lots of natural light, the ground floors were dark and unwelcoming.
Several guests found the parking facilities tight. They also found it inconvenient that the front office closed early. Guests did not like having to pay extra for maid service.
