Hotel Imperial Laguna Faranda (Cancun, Mexico)

The hotel is walking distance from the public beach of the Cancun hotel area. Guests were also near various eateries and bars. Taxis could be called for easily from the hotel so they could see other parts of the city.

The staff members were found to be friendly and kind by guests who stayed here. They found the staff to do a proper check in and check out, as well as give good information of the area.

Guests felt that the price for the rooms was of good value. The rooms had comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms, while the location was good. The basics were covered nicely according to guests.

Although the hotel advertises in-room Wi-Fi, guests found that there was no particular Wi-Fi in the rooms. There is only Wi-Fi in the lobby areas. The in-room Internet was not good at all.

The rooms were found to be very humid and to smell like an old place with no fresh air. Guests did not enjoy staying in these humid rooms where the air conditioning did not help. They were not able to have a good night rest with the complete humidity.

The rooms and hotel were found to be old and run down, unlike the pictures that were shows online. The furnishings and decorations needed to be remodeled to look more up to date. The facilities also need to be better maintained to work properly.
