Guests generally appreciate the newly opened hotel's location just outside the city centre, noting that many attractions are within a healthy walk, and there are tram, metro and bus stops very close by as well.

Few guests fail to mention the bright, quirky, bicycle-themed decor in the lobby as well as in the rooms, which are generally described as a fair size and comfortable for the hotel's price range. Though all of the balconies are not large enough to sit out on, many enjoy a (distant) river view.

The reception staff are widely described as friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Young families appreciate the kids' toys (and free coffee!) in the lobby, and the complimentary breakfast buffet is also earning positive reviews for its variety of hot and cold dishes.

The hotel was formerly a Mercure property, and its first guests have experienced issues related to the just-completed renovation process, such as (temporarily) malfunctioning air conditioning and a paint or adhesive smell in the elevators and a few rooms.

The freeze-dried coffee seems to be as terrible here as it is everywhere else, but the freshly ground variety is available as well. Prices for alcoholic beverages at the lobby bar have been described as slightly steep, too.

Street noise, as well as music from the nearby bar, prevent some guests from sleeping with the windows open. Drivers note that the parking lot is poorly designed, but the area is scheduled to be improved in a later stage of the renovation.
