Hotel Hostal La Isla (Mahón, Spain)

The staff at this hotel do their best to make everyone feel welcome and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. They are very helpful and can assist in booking tickets or just give some directions for the town.

The price seems to be the greatest advantage of this place for many guests. They feel that it's very cheap and a great option for those that are travelling on a budget. Clean rooms and a decent breakfast make this a bargain.

This hotel is down a quiet side street and while you may think that it's out of the way, it's actually just a short walk from the port and the town centre. This makes it an excellent choice for a night before catching a ferry or flight.

While this hotel is not in the busiest of areas, you'll still find that quite a lot of street noise makes it through to the bedrooms. Guests have also noted that you can hear quite a lot of movement around the hotel which doesn't allow you much chance for a lie in.

The rooms are very basic at this hotel but it's perfectly okay for a one night stay. The rooms are a tight squeeze for a couple and there's not much space for keeping your luggage. You'll also find that the furniture is basic and not what you would call luxury.
