Several guests mentioned that both the neighbourhood the hotel was in, as well as the whole of Mahon, had more of an authentically Menorcan feel than exists in many parts of the island. They liked that they weren't as inundated with other tourists as they would be on the coast.
It seemed that all guests were quite satisfied with the location of the hotel. While not perfectly central, guests describe the town centre as just a sort walk away. They felt that it was no problem to walk to the bars, cafes and restaurants they wanted to visit in town.
While the host and staff were praised in general, it was the friendly and warm welcome they extended to their guests on arrival that most seemed to impress. Guests felt immediately comfortable, and even a little at home.
Going by guest comments it seems as if the owners of Eurohotel do not believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The breakfast was described as an extremely lacklustre affair with portions so small they would not get guests through to morning tea.
While it seemed this was not a big problem for any guests commenting, they did point out that the hotel has no lift. Guest's allocated rooms on the top floor will have a bit of climbing to do, including with their luggage.
This also wasn't really an issue for many guests, but some did point out that there were no English TV stations available. It would be best to brush up on your Spanish beforehand.
