The hotel is located in the Power and Light district which is home to many restaurants and bars and guests commented that it was an easy walk to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink.

A number of previous guests to the hotel specifically mentioned the delicious food served in the on-site restaurant the Walnut Room. Some guests also singled out the excellent service they recived from the wait-staff.

A number of guest reviewers claim that they had the best nights' sleep ever in the beds at this hotel. It seems that a number of guests would have taken the Hilton Serenity Bed collection home with them from the tone of their reviews!

Some guest reviewers mentioned that they had quite a bit of trouble reserving and checking into rooms, common complaints included reservation requests not being honored, rooms that were not ready at the allotted check-in time and lost or double booked reservations.

Some guests had the unfortunate timing, staying at the hotel during a time where public services were being upgraded by the local council. Heavy equipment moving in and about the hotel disrupted their stay and guests felt that would have liked to have been warned about the potential disruption prior to their stay.

Some guest reviewers expressed their disappointment at the slow and sometimes non-existent valet service. A number of guests experienced delays in accessing their cars, which left them frustrated and vowing not to return to this hotel.
