While guests liked many things about the hotel, its location right opposite the Indiana State University campus was, by far, what the mentioned most. Many guests were in town to attend a game, meeting or another event on campus, and found it very convenient to just walk across the road and already be onsite.
A very surprising number of guests went out of their way in their reviews to mention that they found the hotel’s lobby to be especially well designed and attractive. The feeling seemed to be that it was a lot nicer than they typically expected of hotel lobbies in this category.
Guests really enjoyed the food from the hotel’s restaurant. While breakfast received the most praise, this was perhaps because it was included in the room rate, so pretty much all guests had it. But others also mentioned that the restaurant serves the other meals as well, and that they were to the same high standard as the breakfast.
Some guests reported difficulty finding parking at times. It seems that there may not be quite enough bays for the number of rooms, so that when the hotel is really full guests can have trouble finding a free spot.
