It was a rare guest who did compliment the staff in their review. While the front desk staff received the most praise, typically for being very friendly and helpful, many other staff members also received fulsome praise from the guests.
These two amenities were perhaps guest’s favorites. Many mentioned really enjoying both the pool, for an invigorating dip and of course the hot tub when a relaxing soak was called for. Several mentioned that their kids really enjoyed the pool.
There were so many guests who mentioned the beds being really comfortable that one stopped counting. Based on all the positive reviews, it seems reasonable to say that the hotel’s bed buyer has succeeded in the very difficult task of selecting a mattress with quite broad appeal.
Guests explained that it was quite difficult to access the property from the road, at least when traveling from the west. They mentioned that the road had a hard divider so it was not possible to turn into the property from this direction. They had to travel some way passed and do a u-turn.
A number of guests reported that they could easily hear sounds from the adjacent rooms. It seems that even fairly normal sounds could be heard, making the quality of ones sleep dependent on the good manners of the neighbors. Also mentioned was that the housekeeping staff were unnecessarily loud early in the morning.
Guests mentioned that they could feel a bit isolated at the hotel. It was said that because of the location, and the nature of the road running out front, there was really nothing of interest within walking distance.
