Hotel Flamingo Inn (Fort Myers Beach, USA)

Being right near the beach is a plus in itself for this well managed hotel. Not only that, you will find great restaurants and an invigorating nightlife too.

The personnel at the hotel are pleased to accommodate you. They are attentive, friendly, and courteous. The rooms are pretty much spic 'n' span and the décor is fairly attractive. Clean towels are brought daily. This is a huge plus if you venture to the beach frequently.

What the hotel lacks in looks, it makes up for with its location. You can basically walk everywhere. Whether it's along the strip or to a nice restaurant, the location is convenient and charming.

There is no swimming pool and no breakfast. Then again, the hotel may have a good excuse for not having a pool since they are so close to the beach, but what about the breakfast? It would be a lovely bonus.

The rooms are clean and attractive, but from time-to-time it's possible to be assigned a room with a musty smell. The smell is so strong it can get into your clothes and follow you even after you check-out of the facility! It seems that many hotels by the ocean have this distinctive awkward smell. Some manage it well and others don't.

The Wi-Fi works; however, if you have any business to do that requires a steady, strong connection, you will be disappointed.
